2 persons die of coronavirus in Pindi

RAWALPINDI   –   Two patients died of coronavirus in Holy Family Hospital here on Monday, informed sources. 

The deceased have been identified as Noor Muhammad (60) and Mumtaz Ahmed (55), they said. According to sources, a patient namely Noor Muhammad was brought to HFH Coronavirus Ward by the family from Dhoke Masta of Wah Cantt. Whereas, the second patient Mumtaz Ahmed was shifted to HFH from New Abadi Kahuta with symptoms of cough, flu and fever.  The doctors took their samples and sent to laboratory for Covid-19 test. Later, the doctors declared the patients coronavirus positive and stated medical treatment. However, both patients could not survive, sources said. 

According to an official of district government, a total of 690 corona positive patients have landed in the hospitals in Rawalpindi district. Of the 690 patients, 625 have been isolated in homes while 65 have been admitted in hospitals.
