Karachi reports 28 new cases, Sindh’s coronavirus tally reaches 245

Twenty-eight new coronavirus cases were reported in Karachi on Thursday, taking the province’s tally to 245.

Of the total 245 cases, 151 were in Sukkur, 93 in Karachi
and one in Hyderabad, according to the Sindh health department.

Three coronavirus patients in Karachi have recovered and
been discharged from hospital.

The total number of Pakistan’s known coronavirus cases now stands at 454. Below is a breakdown of them:

Sindh: 245
Punjab: 78
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 23
Balochistan: 81
Gilgit-Baltistan: 21
Islamabad: 5
Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 1

The pandemic has claimed more than 9,200 lives the world
over.
