Police solve mystery,  arrest man’s killer

ISLAMABAD- Ramna police solved the mystery behind the death of a person in G-11/4 area of the capital in April this year and arrested the lover of the wife of the victim.

After investigation, the police found that the person was murdered by his wife and her paramour. According to the details, on the evening of 21 April 2021, some unknown persons shot dead one Amir Shehzad who was on walk along with his wife Areeba Zahid near the G-11 Sunday Bazar. The police team comprising of Inspector Fiaz Shinwari, Sub-Inspector Asif Khan, ASI Qamar Ejaz started investigation under the supervision of DSP Khalid Mahmood Awan in the case and found that Areeba was recently married to the victim against her will while having illicit relations with the accused, Muhammad Asim son of Muhammad Ilyas. After developing a friendship with Areeba, Asim entered into an illicit relationship with her. 

Both of them chalked out a plan to eliminate Amir Shahzad as his wife Areeba managed to take him along for a walk. The police have arrested Muhammad Asim while Areeba is still at large. DIG (Operations) Afzaal Ahmed Kousar and SSP (Operations) Syed Mustafa Tanweer have appreciated the police performance.
