‘The Invisible Man’ tops box bureau with $28.8 million
LOS ANGELES: “The Invisible Man” this weekend perceived an overwhelming response as it took $28.9 million to tip a box office.
The R-rated film, destined and created by Leigh Whannell (“Saw”), costed around $7 million to make. The movie has already taken in some-more than $20 million abroad and drawn clever reviews.
Visibly gifted Elisabeth Moss stars as a ex-girlfriend of a male (British actor Oliver Jackson-Cohen) who seems to lapse to haunt her after presumably committing suicide.
Paramount´s journey comedy “Sonic a Hedgehog” slipped from a tip mark to second place with $16 million. Jim Carrey stars as a mean Dr. Robotnik in a video-game-based film.
In third place was 20th Century´s “The Call of a Wild”, starring Harrison Ford, during $13.2 million. The story is loosely formed on a Jack London classic, set in a wilds of Alaska and Canada´s Klondike region.
Other cinema in the tip 10 list were:
“My Hero Academia” was at during fourth mark with $5.1 million.
Sony´s “Bad Boys for Life” got fifth place with during $4.3 million
“Birds of Prey” was during sixth position with $4.1 million
“Impractical Jokers: The Movie” was during seventh with $3.5 million
“1917” remained during eighth with $2.7 million
In a ninth, “Brahms: The Boy II” with $2.6 million
In a tenth, “Fantasy Island” with $2.3 million
