OGRA recommends hike of 14pc in gas prices
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), on Wednesday, has recommended a hike of 14 percent in Sui Gas prices across the country.
According to details, OGRA suggested a price of Rs86.93 per unit for Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL), and Rs55 per unit for Sui Southern Gas Company Ltd (SSGCL).
According to recent reports, OGRA’s hike in prices has been suggested to meet revenue shortfalls of the Sui Gas companies.
Summary of the recommended decision has been submitted to the Federal Ministry.
It is pertinent to state here that the final approval will be given by the Federal government.
