Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan, on Friday, welcomed an investment of $85 million by Venture Capitals (VCs) in a Pakistani tech start-up, Airlift.
Taking it to Twitter, PM Imran stated, “We welcome the recent investment of 85 million USD by leading VCs of the world in Airlift, a company led by young Pakistanis”.
According to details, the premier said, the country has huge potential for business dealings on both national and international level. He said the incumbent government is on its way to provide maximum opportunity to the foreign investors to work in collaboration with the county.
“My government is fully committed to creating opportunities,” PM Imran added.
As per details, Airlift is a Lahore-based online shopping delivery service which has raised $85 million in Series B financing.

It is pertinent to state here that the company stands as the largest single private funding round in national history and is the highest financing company in the Middle East and North African region around world.
