Billie Eilish’s Mother Admits She Almost Got Her Daughter Psychological Help Because Of Her Obsession With Justin Bieber – Admits She Would Sob Listening To His Music!
Even stars have their own idols! According to Billie Eilish’s mother, the now-18 year old singer used to be so obsessed with Justin Bieber and his music that she and her father nearly sent her to therapy because of it! This was revealed during the latest ‘me and dad’ radio on Apple Music.
During the episode, her mom, Maggie Baird, shared with the audience that she and the dad, Patrick O’Connell, almost tried to get their daughter help after noticing how much she obsessed over Justin.
Sure enough, Billie admitted that she would sob while listening to Bieber’s music all the time.
The mother dished that ‘Driving to the dance studio with Billie, playing this song [As Long as You Love Me], sobbing, and then driving back and sobbing. It was either Marina and the Diamonds or this song – sobbing. Not just this song, it was all of Justin Bieber [‘s music]… Any Justin Bieber song, but I simply happen to remember this one very well, and the video, and Billie telling me about it, and being excited it was coming out and just crying and crying. Everybody knows the whole Billie-Justin thing, but this song was a big part of it.’
That is when Billie confessed that she would, indeed, ‘watch the music video for this song and just sob.’
Maggie then told her teen daughter that ‘I just want to say that we did consider taking you to therapy because you were in so much pain over Justin Bieber.’
The Bad Guy songstress was definitely surprised to hear about her parents’ plans for her for the first time.
‘You did?! Oh that’s embarrassing,’ she reacted to her mother’s confession.
At the end of the day, however, she was not affected by it, tweeting a link to the show.
Fans were quick to gush over the family after learning about the cute story.
