British actor John Hurt dies
The actor, who played Mr Ollivander in “Harry Potter and a Philosopher’s Stone”, also starred in a film instrumentation of George Orwell’s novel “1984” and played a purpose of Kane in “Alien”.
He was twice nominated for an Oscar, for his opening in a 1978 film “Midnight Express” as Max, a British male detained in Turkey, and for his starring purpose in “Elephant Man” dual years later.
He also perceived a BAFTA endowment for “Midnight Express”, as good as a Golden Globe in a best actor in a ancillary purpose category.
His genocide was reliable to a British press group PA by his representative Charles McDonald.
Born on Jan 22, 1940 in Chesterfield, executive England, Hurt seemed in some 140 films.
The actor, who perceived 4 BAFTAs during his career that began in a 1960s, was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2014.
