Singer and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion has finally been awarded permission to drop her highly controversial Butter remix.
The song was released on Hybe Labels’ official YouTube page and has already amassed 9,721,159 views.
For those unversed, the ‘Official Visualizer’ features a duet by both BTS and Megan Thee Stallion as part of a harmonious and creative mashup.
For those unversed with the legal trouble, Megan ended up taking her label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, to court after they allegedly ‘blocked’ her from appearing in the remix.
A Texas court judge ruled in favor of Megan and extended the TRO that permitted her to release the official track, according to a report by Billboard.
Megan announced her excitement, as well as the release of the track via a Twitter retweet of YouTube Music’s post.
