Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Throw Shade At Queen Elizabeth With This Huge Announcement

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have yet again taken a massive step towards their independence. The couple issued an official statement explaining that they will accept the queen’s decision to no longer use “Sussex Royal.”

The pair, who recently announced their plans to scale back from royal duties, wanted to use their titles for business purposes and to push charities, but the queen was against.

The queen banned Markle and Prince Harry from using their royal titles because of the government’s rules about the use of the term “Royal.”

The duo still threw some shade by insisting that neither Queen Elizabeth nor the UK Government owns the word “royal” internationally.

The statement read: “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess are focused on plans to establish a new non-profit organization, given the specific UK government rules surrounding the use of the word ‘Royal,’ it has been therefore agreed that their non-profit organization when it is announced this Spring, will not be named Sussex Royal Foundation. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘SussexRoyal’ in any territory post Spring 2020.”

They went on to explain: “Therefore, the trademark applications that were filed as protective measures, acting on advice from and following the same model for The Royal Foundation, have been removed.”

It has been confirmed that Prince Harry and Markle will officially no longer be senior members of the royal family on March 31.

A source spoke to Hollywood Life and said the parents of baby Archie do not regret their decision and added: “Have no regrets about leaving, and the move was absolutely the right choice for them. They’re so relieved that it’s all out in the open now. The process has been extremely stressful, but the toughest part is over, and it’s obviously a big weight has been lifted off their shoulders. Now that they have moved to Canada, they aren’t sitting around relaxing, and they’re both full speed ahead.”

The power couple has set out a map to accomplish some big things while enjoying their freedom, according to the pal who stated: “Prince Harry and Meghan have so much they want to accomplish with their foundation. During this trying period of transition, they aren’t rushing into anything, though, it’s all being done very cautiously. They know all eyes are on them and they want to make the right choices, that’s why they are getting guidance from the best of the best.”
