There’s no denying that Mr. Michael Jordan is easily one of the greatest basketball players of all time, in fact, many have dubbed him as potentially the greatest athlete. To many people, Jordan is undoubtedly the GOAT on the court.

While social media has undoubtedly done a lot of good for the world in terms of allowing people to communicate with one another all over the world, celebrities and other public figures often face social media wrath in which fans and haters put them on blast for seemingly petty reasons.

When Jordan spoke with Cigar Aficionado recently, the former NBAer was asked about the social media era, and he said he wasn’t sure if he would’ve been able to handle it. Jordan explained how Mr. Tiger Woods proved to him that he wouldn’t be able to deal with the scrutiny.

According to Jordan, Woods was at the peak of his career right around the end of his. The basketball legend explained how social media was just picking up around that time, including Twitter and other social sharing platforms.

The platforms have “invaded the personalities and personal time of individuals,” Michael explained. Admittedly, many people have been able to foster careers with social media, however, when he saw what happened with Tiger during his cheating scandal, he questioned how he would’ve dealt with the same predicament.

In the era of social media, Jordan explained, something that is seemingly so innocent can be misconstrued and blown out of proportion to the point where there is no truth left.

As it was previously reported, Tiger Woods was all over the headlines back in the late 2000s over his cheating scandal which nearly ended his career at the time. Tiger Woods has since gotten over the hump and is back to form.
