Injured cheetah rescued from a ditch in Abbottabad

It has been taken for treatment

An injured cheetah was caught and taken for treatment by a wildlife department team in Abbottabad’s Tajwal.

The animal reportedly fell in a ditch and injured its back, rendering it unable to move. After seven hours of efforts, the wildlife department team was able to lift the cheetah out of the ditch and take it for treatment to Abbottabad.

The animal was tranquilized before it was rescued and transported in a cage, according to officer Sardar Nawaz.

Department officials have warned people to stay away from wild animals, especially at night.
