Ayeza Khan pays tribute to Kajol in latest Instagram post
Actor Ayeza Khan has been recreating one iconic look after another as part of her latest character in the upcoming Lapata, in which the Chupke Chupke plays the role of a TikToker. This time around, the actor recreated Bollywood actor Kajol’s iconic character from the film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Complete with short hair and sportswear, Khan paid tribute to the Bollywood superstar, recreating a scene from the super hit film.
She captioned the post, “Playing this character has been so fun for me! Especially because it allowed me enjoy some of my favourite movie stars, like @kajol I’m so grateful and can’t wait for you guys to see this!”
The actor previously recreated the looks of other females superstars as well. “’Eik Do Teeeeeen… Or Dev Babuu!’” she wrote underneath her Madhuri Dixit tribute. “This is exactly what comes to my mind every time I hear the name Madhuri Dixit. When you look at her, you feel that Dil To Pagal Hay. Oh what an exciting time that was,” she added in the caption of her post.
Previously, Ayeza had honoured India’s dream girl by recreating one of her iconic looks with a yellow saree. She wrote alongside the photos of the recreation, “‘Teray meray honton pe… meethay meethay geet mitwa…‘ Amongst so many of my favourite actresses, Sridevi has and will always be on the top. It’s a pity that she left us so soon. An inspiration for me as an actress and a mother. [I’m] so grateful to be a part of this project that gave me a chance to enjoy a little part of all my favourite icons. Something I have never done, and never wondered I could do.”
Prior to this, Ayeza attempted to embody Malika-e-Tarannum for the same serial, and also recreated Mahira Khan’s popular avatar from her film, Superstar.
