Jason Momoa backs Ray Fisher’s claims of ‘Justice League’ re-shoots being toxic

Hollywood actor Jason Momoa has stepped up to defend co-star Ray Fisher’s claim of the Justice League film set being a toxic environment, reported The Hollywood Reporter. Using rather crass words, the Aquaman star  in an Instagram post called for an investigation into Fischer’s claim

” This has to stop and needs to be looked at. Ray Fisher and everyone else who experienced what happened under the watch of Warner Brothers pictures needs proper investigation. I just think it’s messed up that people released a fake Frosty announcement without my permission to try to distract from Ray Fisher speaking up about the  way we were treated on Justice League reshoots,” Momoa said. 

Back in July, Fisher who played the character of Cyborg in the film accused Joss Whedon, who oversaw reshoots for 2017’s Justice League, of being abusive on set. He has also claimed that producers Jon Berg and Geoff Johns enabled the filmmaker’s behavior. WarnerMedia said last month it was investigating these claims, but on Sept. 4, Warner Bros. released a statement claiming Fisher was not cooperating with the investigation. Fisher denied this with a statement of his own.

Momoa, in backing Fisher, did not share any specifics about alleged behavior on the set of Justice League. He went on to reports of a Warner Bros. Frosty the Snowman project, in which he was reported to be starring, with Berg and Johns attached to produce. According to Momoa, news of that film was leaked as a distraction. Reports of Momoa starring in the project hit the morning of July 1, a little more than 90 minutes after Fisher made his allegations on Twitter.

Berg has denied the claims, while Johns and Whedon have not addressed them publicly.
