Leave him alone: Internet on fire after Urvashi Rautela posted edited video of herself, Naseem Shah

The internet isn’t getting over the latest thrilling match between Pakistan and India anytime soon. After dedicating the day to the men in green’s nail-biting victory, the spotlight is now solely on Naseem Shah after Indian actor Urvashi Rautela, who was present at the stadium in Dubai, posted a video of her blushing and smiling from the stands at the cricketer. Shah is seen smiling back too.

The Great Grand Masti actor took to her Instagram stories with a screen recording from the match’s highlights where she can be seen grinning as the camera shifts to Shah’s face from the field. Twitteratis couldn’t help but make the apparently edited video viral as soon as it was posted.

Sharing the clip on the bird app, social media users made all kinds of jokes from jibes at the 28-year-old actor “eyeing” and “thirsting” after the 19-year-old bowler to asking her to stay with Indian cricketer Rishabh Pant, with whom she was rumoured to have an affair earlier.

A user highlighted that Rautela has not just taken a screengrab from the screened match but has created an edit given the different scores flashing on the screen when their faces appear. “Guys, also check the score, Urvashi’s expressions are at 97-4 while Naseem the King’s are at 1-1. The video is edited, take a seat everyone,” wrote a user.

Pakistanis flocked to “protect” their young athlete and asked Rautela to “leave him alone.”

A user also sounded disappointed after knowing Rautela wasn’t there for either Pant or cricketer Hardik Pandya. “Some were saying she was there for Hardik Pandya, others were saying Rishabh Pant, but this lady was clearly ahead of all of us.”

Another user felt sorry for Pant. “Naseem Shah cleaned bowled Rishabh Pant and won twice in a single match. Poor Pant, imagine being on the bench and still losing twice,” read the tweet

.Clarifying Shah’s beaming smile, a user wrote that his expressions were in fact directed at his effort of getting Kohli with an in-swing and not Rautela, of course.

Others found the video “embarrassing,” “cringe,” and a “cheap effort” as they called Rautela out for being a “sugar mommy”.

But some agreed that Shah is definitely “cute” and related to Rautela. “I mean I don’t blame her. He’s Pukhtoon, and better looking than the majority of their population,” wrote a user.
