NA speaker stance on reducing govt term to three years



LAHORE: Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq held a meeting with Speaker Punjab Assembly Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan at Punjab Assembly in Lahore on Thursday.

During the meeting, matters pertaining to commonwealth parliamentary issues, speaker’s conference and over all political situation came under discussion.

Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said respect of judiciary is responsibility of all of us.

He said the constitution of Pakistan does not allow tenure of government for three years.

He said Pakistan will suffer loss due to confrontation among institutions.

Ayaz Sadiq said today judiciary is totally independent and those undemocratic elements who hatched conspiracies against the judiciary will fail in their nefarious design. –SAMAA/app
