Security Cooperation Among SCO Members Urged

The moot was held in Beijing as national security advisor Nasir Janjua presented Pakistan. Security  Experts from the eight member states of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan have participated in the meeting.

In his address, Nasir Janjua mentioned that the security threats in the region require more mutual cooperation. He also urged that the war against terrorism should be fought as per international laws and on moral grounds.

He said that the establishing links of terrorists from any particular religion, nation or race were not true as terrorists have no relation with any religion.

“Pakistan has rendered numerous sacrifices in the war against terrorism and also paid the price,” he mentioned.

At the end of the moot, all members signed the common declaration.
