A wall painting Project Enhancing by Lok Virsa with the collaboration of Kuch Khas and Words Beats Live concluded. From USA three Artist Maxx Moses, Isaias Crol, Mas Paz along with
local artists served a week painting of Pakistan Cultural Diversity at Lok Virsa, says a press release.
Lok Virsa Programme Executive Rabia Amin said “Lok Virsa believes in creating spaces that encourage creative expression for all. We want our youth to bring creative expression back in our lives.”
This Fine Arts collaboration of USA, local artist, Truck Artist, it showed how much we enjoyed people, colour, culture. There are many similarities in US and Pakistan culture.
She further said, “This project that intended to share interdisciplinary nature of visual arts forms, and encouraged freedom of expression is very valuable to us. We believe that folklore gets created all the time, by not only the masses of rural areas but also by the masses of urban areas. The cross cultural dimension of this initiative was highly appreciated. We need to bond and have mutually significant spaces, platforms and exchanges.”
Mr. Maxx Moses expressed his viewed that, “Pakistan has elements of local public art, a history of fine artists, and spaces of arts learning and exhibition. Pakistan also has a very rich tradition of poetry, written and performed. This is my first visit to Pakistan and I feel that we like a family and I am so impressed”.
