SC orders anchorperson Shahid Masood’s recover on bail

FIA had arrested Masood from a premises of a IHC on Nov 23 after his bail defence had been deserted in a PTV crime case. The anchorperson was after sent to Adiala jail on legal remand.

Masood, who was allocated PTV authority in a reign of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), is indicted of signing an agreement with a feign association to negotiate with a Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for extend of rights for coverage of cricket matches played in Pakistan.

Masood was concerned in piracy of around Rs37 million from PTV as he negotiated with PCB for media rights and postulated them to a feign catering company, according to FIA.
