Three killed in car accident on Sanghar’s Nawabshah Road

Three people were killed and 11 injured in a car accident on Sanghar’s Nawabshah Road on Monday morning.

Rescue services say the passenger van and car collided due to over speeding.

Some people were taken to Civil Hospital while others were taken to Nawabshah hospital.

The passengers were from Punjab’s Vehari and Boraywala and had come to Sanghar for a wedding.

The people killed in the accident have been identified as the driver, Noor Muhammad, and two passengers Nazir Ahmed and Aqeel Qureshi.

The injured people have been identified as Waheedur Rehman, Irfan, Ali, Aman Ahmed, Muhammad Khalil, Abdullah, Siddiqua Bibi, Shakeela Bibi, Safra Bibi, Aamir Sohail and Muhammad Aslam.

The vehicle that hit the van has been identified as belonging to the Sindh irrigation department. The driver of the car was also severely injured and taken to the Nawabshah hospital.
