Man Arrested in Connection to Murders of Toya Wright’s Brothers Josh & Rudy Johnson

Nearly 8 months after their murders, an detain has been done in a deadly sharpened of Toya Wright’s dual younger brothers. Antoine Edwards has been arrested and booked on dual depends of second grade murder.

Edwards, 31, was arrested Thursday (Mar. 9) in tie to a Jul 31, 2016 sharpened that left Joshua and Ryan “Rudy” Johnson dead. New Orleans Police Department carnage investigator Theo Kent says mixed tipsters lead investigators to Edwards.

NOPD investigators were told someone who went by a nicknames “Toine” and “Tweezy” was a shooter. The confirmation also states that a chairman certified to a murders on one occasion. Edwards was also identified by “several witnesses” from a print lineups.

According to a warrant, Edwards has also been identified as being “in a area during a time a occurrence occurred and as a theme who constructed a firearm and shot a victims in a incident.”

Although a detain aver states Edwards was arrested on one count of second-degree murder, a NOPD has reliable he was requisitioned on dual counts.

Brothers Josh and Rudy were gunned down final year while sitting in a parked 2006 Chevrolet Equinox in a 7th Ward of New Orleans. Both were shot mixed times and were conspicuous passed on a scene. The engine was still running. Josh was 31 and Rudy was only 24.

Edwards is being hold on $500,000 bond and is due behind in probity May 7. No ground has been expelled yet.

Toya Wright is a ex-wife of Lil Wayne and star of several existence shows. Following a news of Edwards’ arrest, she expelled a short matter to TMZ:
