Will Smith Says He Was Sure He’d Never Talk To Jada Again After August Alsina Relationship – Their Marriage Still Standing Is A ‘Miracle!’
During the latest episode of their Red Table Talk show, Jada Pinkett Smith finally confirmed that she and August Alsina were indeed involved romantically. Furthermore, her husband Will Smith confessed that he thought he and his wife would ‘never talk’ again!
As far as Will is concerned, the fact that he and Jada are still married feels like a ‘miracle!’
This episode comes as a response to singer August Alsina claiming publicly that he and Jada had a relationship.
Obviously, the famous couple felt the need to address that even though they are usually more private about their marriage.
Jada started by insisting that ‘One thing I’ll say about you [Will] and I, it’s there’s never been secrets.’
So, it turns out that the romance with August was real but that it happened when she and Will were separated!
‘I was done with your a**’ joked Will before he went on to explain that at some point they had split so that Jada could ‘go figure out how to make yourself happy and I’ll figure out how to make myself happy. I really felt like we could be over. We came together young, and we were both broken in our own ways, and to be able to make mistakes without the fear of losing your family is so critical.’
In response, the actress stated that ‘one of the things that I’m deeply grateful in this whole process between you and I is that we have really gotten to that new place of unconditional love.’
‘Cause’ I wasn’t sure I was ever going to speak to you again. The fact that I’m speaking to you again is a miracle,’ Will told her.
Sure enough, Jada said the same, stressing that she really did not think they would reunite.
But, looking back, she feels like ‘You gotta go through some s**t to get the answers.’
