How and when did we turn meddlesome in handbags?
I was a uninformed connoisseur from an art college in 2002. we was armed with optimism, unrestrained and a enthusiasm essential for a new beginning. The enterprise to prominence issues in a multitude was strong. To me, handbags seemed to be an ideal middle to demonstrate my views.
What are your favourite handbags?
From my past collections: ‘The Fat Satchel’, ‘Lahore Lahore Aye Tote’, ‘Sequinned Flag Clutch’ and also a ‘Black Bird Love’.
Is there any bag we are emotionally trustworthy to and why?
The Mahin Hussain ‘Sequinned Flag Clutch’. This is a bag that according to me should be value some-more than a cost tag. we designed this purchase in 2010 when there was good domestic instability. Many people had started migrating to unfamiliar lands, there was doubt and spirits of a normal Pakistani were low. To me, this purchase is a sign of a inhabitant honour and an bid to instil wish and certainty in all of us. It has been carried by some good women in a nation like a two-time Oscar winner, Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy and a Pakistani Representative to a United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi.
Is there anything on your radar that we wish to get in a future?
I’m energetically watchful for my summer 2017 bag collection to come out, only in time for Ramazan. we am a follower of mythological character icon, Iris Apfel’s philosophy: some-more is more, reduction is a bore. we have some sparkling bags entrance out soon!
