PANAJI, INDIA: One chairman died and several others were feared blank after a overpass collapsed in a renouned Indian traveller state of Goa, military and reports pronounced late Thursday.
Dozens of people had collected on a overpass to watch puncture services try to rescue a male who had jumped into a Sanvordem stream in Curchorem in Goa’s south when it collapsed underneath a weight.

“A lot of people came to declare a developments from a overpass and a structure collapsed. We managed to save scarcely 20 to 25 people and have recovered one physique so far,” Goa military sub-inspector Ravindranath Pednekar said.

Some who fell had managed to float to reserve though Pednekar pronounced he was incompetent to endorse internal media reports that adult to 30 people were still missing, adding that “search operations are ongoing”.
Indian media reported that a collision occurred around 6.30pm and that a overpass was built during Goa’s time as a Portuguese colony, that finished in 1961.
