4 of Kashmiri youth martyred by indian forces in IOK

A senior Army official told media that four youth were killed firing by forces at Karan in Nowgam area of the district. “The operation is going on,” he said.

The officer said, “Vast area has been cordoned off and additional reinforcements have been rushed to assist the already deployed troops.”

Meanwhile, a police constable decamped with four rifles from guard duty room of Food Corporation of India in central Kashmir’s Budgam district, police said. The Inspector General of Police (IGP), said, “The constable Syed Naveed Mushtaq of Shopian decamped with four SLR rifles from the guard duty room this evening. This is not a snatching incident. He ran away with the rifles.” The IGP said that manhunt has been launched to trace him.
