ISLAMABAD – A man killed owner of a dairy shop and injured his son critically over monetary issue in limits of Police Station Golra Sharif, informed a police spokesman on Friday.
Police have arrested the killer and seized weapons he used in the crime, he added.
Police registered case and started investigation, he said.
According to him, Salman Khan, resident of Maira Akku, lodged complaint with PS Golra Sharif stating his father Asghar Khan is running a dairy shop from where Amir used to borrow milk and yogurt. He stated his father demanded Rs8,000 from him as the bill for milk on which he attacked the shop and started firing with a pistol. Resultantly, Asghar Khan was killed and he (the applicant) sustained injuries. Rescuers moved the body to PIMS for autopsy.
DSP Saddar Zone Sajjad Bukhari, when contacted, said police held the killer and recovered the weapon from him. He said police also obtained physical remand of accused for further investigation.
Meanwhile, he said, dacoits deprived some 12 citizens of cash, gold, mobile phones, a motorcycle and other valuables on gunpoint from various areas of Islamabad.
Similarly, auto-theft gang pilfered a car and five motorcycles. Police have registered cases and begun investigation, he said.
