CIA arrests 2 dacoits involved in snatching cars 

Islamabad-The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police have arrested two active members of a gang involved in selling spare parts of vehicles they used to snatch at gunpoint from citizens, informed a police spokesman on Saturday. The police have also recovered Rs400,000 cash, four number plates and weapons from the accused identified as Sami Ullah and Javed, he said.

The duo was apprehended by a special team of CIA, led by DSP Hakam Khan, following the orders of SSP Investigation Islamabad Atta Ur Rehman, the spokesman said.

Separate cases have been registered against the accused who had also confessed their crimes before the investigators during investigation, he said. 

Inspector General of Police Islamabad Qazi Jamil Ur Rehman and Deputy Inspector General Operations Muhammad Afzaal Kausar appreciated the efforts of cops for netting two notorious car snatchers.
