PESHAWAR: For a second uninterrupted day on Saturday, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA and parliamentary secretary for sourroundings Fazl Elahi and his voters continued their criticism opposite energy outages in Peshawar and surrounded a 132KV grid hire in a city’s Hazar Khawani area.

Elahi, along with hundreds of protesters, collected during a grid hire to press a Peshawar Electric Supply Company (Pesco) to finish hours-long energy cuts.

Holding sticks, a throng attempted to enter by a categorical embankment though a confidence staff managed to close it before they could enter. The protesters afterwards attempted to mangle into a hire to revive energy to their areas, though a complicated fortuitous of military arrived and stopped them.

Led by Elahi, a throng spent Friday night in criticism outward a grid hire and also ate their Sehri dish there as a PTI personality had pronounced they would not leave until electricity supply was restored to his constituency, PK-6.

“Those who are regulating electricity illegally should be treated as per a law though a consumers who are profitable their bills should not be punished for a crime committed by a few,” he added.

“People are being urged to take a law into their hands that will have dangerous consequences,” he said. “The provincial supervision will be obliged for any unfavourable incident.”

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) IGP Salahuddin Mehsud has destined all informal and district military officers to safeguard confidence to all grid stations and other installations of a Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda).

Mehsud pronounced everybody had a right to criticism though no one could be authorised to conflict grid stations, retard roads and repairs open assets. The IGP also destined a military officers to assistance arrange meetings between criticism leaders and Wapda officials.
