Serena Williams Clarifies Sister’s Slip of a Tongue, Says She Doesn’t Know a Sex of Her Baby

Is it a girl? Maybe a boy? As it turns out, we might not indeed know. Serena Williams took to Twitter to let us know that her sister did NOT accidently exhibit a sex of her child-to-be.

During her French Open post-match talk Thursday (Jun 1), Venus Williams seemed to trip and tell a world her small sister was awaiting a girl. “She’s going to call me favorite aunt,” Venus said. She afterwards pronounced Serena’s 3 sisters all wish a baby is named after them.

We all took this as acknowledgment a tennis good is carrying a girl. But wait only one minute! Serena says even she doesn’t know a sex of her baby and is watchful for a warn when she gives birth.

Serena explained she uses “she” or “he” depending on what she needs from her sisters, fiancé or father.
