Japanese envoy praises Pakistan’s efforts to eliminate terrorism

The envoy called on army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.

Matters of mutual interest with focus on regional security were discussed during the meeting, it added. Kurai also expressed his government’s desire to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in all fields.

Gen Qamar, the military’s media wing added, thanked the ambassador and expressed hope that Japan will continue to play a positive role towards peace and stability in the region.
