Dasti complains of being tortured, subjected to forced starvation in prison

Parliamentarian Jamshed Dasti, who was arrested progressing this month, has complained of serious woe and starvation inside the prison, seeking a Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of his ordeal.

In a video that went viral on amicable media on Thursday, Dasti pleaded for assistance by a grilled windows of a jail vehicle.

The authority of a Pakistan Awami Raj party, was arrested for allegedly instigating people to open a sluice embankment during Kalu headworks channel to recover H2O in Dinga teenager (Muzaffargarh canal).

Irrigation officials had warned a MNA opposite opening a embankment that had been sealed for many months due to litigation. However, Dasti settled that he expelled H2O to promote farmers who had been angry of H2O shortage.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) authority Imran Khan criticised a supervision for resorting to ‘dictatorial’ strategy regime in doing Dasti’s case.

“Those shedding tears on coming before a corner review group (JIT) questioning a Panamagate case] shamelessly use force on [political] rivals,” Imran pronounced in a statement.

“The members of Sharif family concerned in crimes of iniquitous inlet lift a paint and cry when they seem before a JIT,” he added.

Imran pronounced “use of assault on Jamshed Dasti behind bars is inhuman and shameless.”

The PTI authority went on to supplement that Sharif brothers during their reign were regulating a collection of dictatorship. “Zia, a coach and defender of Sharifs, used force on his domestic rivals in a same way.” he said.

The Sharif brothers, he continued, should not consider they will not be accountable for their act of tyranny.

Imran demanded that woe on Dasti be stopped forthwith and measures be taken for his release.
