ZAGREB: Uber Technologies Inc launched a speedboat use in Croatia on Friday, joining vital traveller spots along a country’s Adriatic coast.
UberBOAT, that offers speedboats for adult to 12 people, has already been tested in Istanbul and Miami among other locations, and will work in Croatia during a summer traveller season.
It will competition with other vessel services along a Adriatic coast.
The use will be available, around a Uber app, from a cities of Split and Dubrovnik in a southern Adriatic as good as from a island of Hvar. The cost of employing a speed vessel for adult to 8 people to transport from Split to Hvar, for example, will cost 2,600 kuna ($400).
