NEW DELHI: According to Bollywood actor Kajol, matrimony does not meant a finish of a womanlike actor’s career and it has been so for a longest time. The Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge star feels that a hype over this is due to additional courtesy being given to a marital standing of women in society.

“Married actors have been operative in films for a really prolonged time. It’s only that they never came into concentration and people never forked them out and said, ‘Hey, you’re married now and you’re working’,” Kajol pronounced in an interview. “You had Sharmila Tagore, we had my mom Tanuja, we had Saira Banu and Dimple Kapadia, and we had so many womanlike actors who worked after they got married! In fact, they worked some-more after they got married.”

Kajol went on to explain a logic behind her stance. “Yes, there are actors who have been operative pre and post matrimony and zero altered in their whole imagery. There were a lot of them who did not work during all once they got married and that is a personal choice, we believe,” she said. “And, of course, there were some who only didn’t make it and chose to use matrimony as an excuse. So, we don’t consider I’m a path-breaker in that sense. The spotlight might be on me right now though we am not a initial to do it. we only followed in some really shining footsteps.”

Kajol married actor Ajay Devgn during a rise of her career, behind in 1999. The integrate has dual children, a 13-year-old daughter named Nysa and son Yug, who is six. After a birth of her daughter in 2003, a actor did a few films such as Fanaa, U Me Aur Hum, My Name Is Khan, We Are Family and Toonpur Ka Superrhero. She was final seen conflicting Shah Rukh Khan in 2015’s Dilwale.
