Every Pakistani owes Rs95,000 in debt: financial ministry

Each Pakistani owes Rs95,000 in debt with a country’s unfamiliar debt and liabilities station during $58 billion – around Rs6.11 trillion, the financial method informed the National Assembly on Friday.

Documents presented by a method to a council uncover that until Dec 31, 2016, a country’s domestic debt stands during Rs12.31 trillion or $117 billion.

The net open or sum debt comes to Rs18.44 trillion or Rs117 billion. As per these statistics, any Pakistani now owes Rs94,890.

The financial ministry’s papers uncover that between Jul 1, 2016 and Mar 31, 2017, a supervision borrowed Rs819.1 billion from banks.

It borrowed Rs734.62 billion of this volume from a State Bank of Pakistan and Rs84.50 billion from blurb banks.

About $17 billion or scarcely half of a sum loans performed from Jul 2013 to Jun 2017 were utilized to repay a prior debt, shows statistics confirmed by a financial ministry. The supervision combined net $18 billion to a country’s sum outmost debt and liabilities – a top volume combined by any supervision during the tenure.
