On-duty cops crave for family time on Eid

LAHORE: As a rest of a republic spends Eid with desired ones, there are those that have to stay divided from their families since avocation calls—and policemen are no difference to this rule.
“Since we assimilated a military dialect over a decade ago, we haven’t even spent a singular Eid with my family. This year again, we will be on duty,” says conduct deputy Mujahid Chaudhry with a spirit of unhappiness in his voice.
While articulate to The Express Tribune, he recalls all a Eids he has spent divided from home. “We are bustling securing a lives of others,” he adds regretfully.

Muhammad Nadeem, another policeman, says he a been compared with a force for final 22 years. This time around, he has managed to get leave to applaud Eidul Azha with his family. “I am really vehement since in a final 22 years, we distinguished Eid with my family usually a few times.”
Nadeem, also a member of a force, sees a possibility to spend Eid with a family as a kind of privilege. “At times, we try to use all a contacts and powers to get leave, though frequency is it approved,” he adds.
Imtiaz Ahmad, another cop, says he always prays that a arise passes though incident. “The day of jubilee does not spin into a day of anguish for any family.”Ahmad adds that a categorical purpose of their avocation is to strengthen lives of people. “This time too, a scapegoat will give definition to a avocation on Eidul Azha.”
