Relax, WhatsApp may be coming with its latest ‘Unsend’ feature for all users
If you’ve accidentally sent someone a message on WhatsApp that you regretted or wished you hadn’t–don’t worry. WhatsApp may be coming with its latest ‘Unsend’ option which will allow users to recall their messages.
“The server finally works and it successfully recalls the message. It will be remotely enabled later…,” said WABetaInfo, a fan site.
Texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies can be recalled within a give-minute window by the user after he has sent them. Beyond the five-minute window, the messages cannot be recalled.
The feature would be made available for users on both Android and iOS platforms. This will allow users to edit their recent messages that have been sent.
