Cops released on bail in Benazir murder case
RAWALPINDI: Ex CPO Saud Aziz and SP Khurram Shehzad were released on bail on the orders of Lahore High Court (LHC) here Friday.
According to jail sources, the division bench of LHC granted bail to the convicted policemen on surety bonds of Rs twenty lac each.
Earlier, the Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Judge Asghar Khan had sentenced both the cops to imprisonment of seventeen years in Benazir Bhutto murder case.
It may be recalled that the policemen were charged for washing out the crime scene. – APP
