Bus conductor stabs passenger to death following scuffle in Karachi
KARACHI: In an unfortunate incident that occurred on Tuesday, a bus conductor killed a passenger over a minor argument involving a few rupees.
According to details, a scuffle broke out between the bus conductor and a passenger over a few rupees when the bus was in Bahadurabad. According to the bus driver, he got involved in the brawl and separated the two.
“When I intervened and broke up the fight, both of them were bleeding,” he said. “However, I sat them down after their scuffle and everything seemed fine,” he added.
However, the conductor stabbed the passenger with a sharp object which resulted in the latter’s death. The deceased was a security guard for a private company.
The injured bus conductor was also taken into custody by police.
