NEW DELHI: Police have arrested a clergyman in eastern India indicted of raping dual women on a stratagem of pushing out immorality spirits, an central pronounced Wednesday.
Chandrama Raj, a clergyman with a Indian Mission Church in Bihar state, was arrested after one of a victims filed a censure in September.
“We conducted a rough exploration and have arrested a priest. He has been sent to legal custody,” Manu Maharaj, a comparison military superintendent of a state collateral Patna, told AFP.
