ISLAMABAD: An earthquake were felt in different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Wednesday morning, Samaa reported.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Seismic Monitory and Early Tsunami Warning Centre, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake was felt in different cities of the province.
The cities in which the tremors were felt included Lower Dir, Swat, Buner and Chitral. No casualties were reported.
People came out of their houses while reciting Kalma-e-Tayyaba.
The earthquake was 110-kilometre in depth and its epicentre was the Hindukush region in Afghanistan.
