Assets Beyond Income: NAB Summons Ch Brothers

Director General NAB Lahore Saleem Shehzad has issued summons to Chaudhry bothers, asking them to appear before the Bureau on Nov 6, 2017.

NAB sources said that NAB had reopened cases relating to possessing assets disproportionate to known sources of income by the PML-Q chief and his cousin and former Punjab CM and Deputy Prime Minister.

They said that the cases were closed on political grounds and through political influence during General Pervez Musharraf tenure when PML-Q had government in centre and three provinces and the party was the main backer of the military dictator.
