The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested dual officials of Karachi Development Authority (KDA) during a raid during a executive general’s bureau in Karachi.

The swindle busters arrested one of KDA directors Ubaidullah and record room in-charge Kamran and also seized supportive record during a raid, Express News reported on Thursday.

According to sources, former DG KDA Nasir Abbas, who was arrested by a anti-graft watchdog for allegedly holding dual passports concurrently in September, was also brought handcuffed by a NAB group during a Civic Centre office. They interrogated a KDA staff in Abbas’s presence, sources added.

The swindle busters also searched a bureau of Charged Parking and Bachat Bazaar (cost-effective market) and arrested a executive Ubaidullah and in-charge record room Mohammad Kamran.

All entrance and exit points of a KDA bureau were hermetic during a raid.

The suspects have been changed to an undisclosed plcae for serve interrogation.
