LHC questions measures taken to tackle smog, summons secretary environment

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday summoned secretary environment after it questioned measures taken to understanding with fog blanketing Punjab. 

The LHC also remarked that smog has influenced a province during prior years and asked measures taken by a provincial government during a past year to understanding with a situation.  

The entirety of Lahore is lonesome in smog, remarked a court. 

At least four people have been killed and 44 harmed in smog-related accidents in Hafizabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Kashmore and Gujranwala.
