Security army launched a snap-check operation in Darra Adam Khel area of a Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) on Monday, apprehending 3 persons and impounding a automobile they were travelling on that was installed with arms and ammunition.
According to a Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), paramilitary army recovered SMGs, 30 gimlet and 9mm pistols, 12 gimlet repeaters and rifles.
Rifles of opposite calibres as good as ammunition of churned calibre were also recovered.
Separately, South Waziristan Agency (SWA) confidence army carried out an intelligence-based operation in the Boya Ghundakai area and seized 12.7mm guns and RPG7s along with ammunition boxes were recovered.
