Interior ministry denies suspension of prohibited bore licenses news
ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Interior Monday contradicted a news item published in a section of print and electronic media regarding suspension/cancellation of all licenses of prohibited bore (automatic weapons).
The ministry has denied issuance of any such notification in this regard, a statement said.
It was also clarified that matter of regulating arms, specially automatic arms in the country was still under consideration.
The media would be informed regarding any progress on the issue through proper channel. – APP
