KARACHI:The Christian village of Pakistan is set to get a second principal after 24 years as Pope Francis announced names of fourteen new cardinals, including Karachi’s Archbishop Joseph Coutts.

Archbishop Joseph Coutts is set to be allocated as a principal by Pope Francis on Jun 29. The proclamation was done during Pentecost celebrations after a holy mass by a Vatican head.

The 73-year-old will be a second Pakistani archbishop to be celebrated with a position after a genocide of principal Joseph Cordeiro in 1994.
