It hasn’t been a good year; many icons have upheld on, tragedies have happened around a universe and many other astonishing domestic moves around a universe have scarred us. You can’t contend 2016 has been a good year. But amid all a tragedies there have been some extraordinary things that have happened in Pakistan.

4. Our initial ever general fighting champion Muhammad Waseem shielded his belt
5. Pakistan’s initial ever online film is being made
6. We became a series one Test team
7. Three-time Grammy nominee, Diplo, came and achieved in Pakistan
8. Pakistan upheld a initial anti-honour murdering and anti-rape bills
9. Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy won her second Oscar for Pakistan
