CJP should take notice of choosing delay in NA-60: Sheikh Rasheed
RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League arch Sheikh Rasheed remarked on Sunday that a Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar should take notice of choosing being behind in NA-60 following Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) personality Hanif Abbasi’s sentence.
“Hanif Abbasi has been condemned in a prohibited bootlegging case,” remarked Rasheed while addressing a press discussion in Rawalpindi.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has taken an unconstitutional step after loitering a choosing in NA-160, he claimed.
It would be distinct if a choosing was being deferred due to banishment occurrence or genocide of claimant in a constituency, he said, adding that a swindling has been hatched to postpone a choosing in one constituency.
ECP has to take a preference with honour to a law and not opinions common on media, pronounced Rasheed.
