DG ISPR says sacrifices of martyrs should be celebrated on Defence Day

Speaking during an ISPR formulation discussion progressing today, Major General Ghafoor pronounced a Ministry of Information and a military’s media wing are coordinating to compensate reverence to a martyrs and their sacrifices on a arise of Defence and Martyrs Day.

Emphasising a purpose of a media, he urged media member to honour a martyrs by visiting their families and highlighting their sacrifices for a means of a country.

“Every sufferer of a republic should be manifest on [September 6],” he said.

The republic will remember and salute a martyrs and their families in a fitting manner, Major General Ghafoor added.

The discussion was attended by member from a polite society, media and armed forces.
