“Pakistan’s Consulate General in Jalalabad, that was sealed on 30th Aug 2018 will resume a visa operations, after assurances by a Afghan supervision that all compulsory and compulsory confidence will be supposing to a Consulate Generalz,” FO Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal tweeted.
“All visa field in Jalalabad and surrounding areas within a office of a Consulate General could now request for visa with a Consulate General with outcome from Monday 8th Oct 2018,” Dr Faisal said.
Last month, Pakistan had sealed off a consulate in Jalalabad due to a “undue intervention” by Nangarhar administrator Hayatullah Hayat in what a matter released by Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul referred to as a “complete defilement of a Vienna Convention of a Consular Relations 1963”.
